Given that R is between S and T, find each missing measure.

RS= 6, TR=4.5, TS=?

It's been a while since I saw it done.

  3. You'd better make a simple sketch:

    S___________R______T

    So, you see from here that TS=SR+RT=6+4.5 = 10.5

    That's the answer :)

  4. Assuming this is on a straight line, it's easy once you draw it out.  Here's your line:

    T_____R______S

    If segment TR is 4.5, and RS is 6, then TS would be the length of the entire line — 4.5 + 6 = 10.5

    To find TS simply do 4.5+6. TS = 10.5
