Simple Science Diagram question?

hi!

basically i am doing an experiment for a science fair, making my own themometer. (From rubbing alcohol, not mercury!) Basically, I have to draw a diagram. Well...the diagram will be of both themometers being heated in a pot of water and later i will compare my results..whatever;

anywho, when drawing this diagram, do i draw a scientific diagram of a themometer or just a normal one. If I have to draw the scientific way for a themometer, what do I draw for things like a pot? Thanks!

  1. For a science fair, a normal drawing will do fine.  Remember though, that the drawings, as well as the explanations, need to be easily understood by those who may not be fully skilled in the art, rather the interested passer-by who may be looking to understand your project.

    Be neat!!!  If you are permitted, pictures are much preferred, as they give rich details of how you performed the steps.
