Simple Televsion Question?

i bought a sony lcd tv and it looks like it has a burnt pixel. is one burnt pixel a problem or is it normal or common. the pixel size is about as big as a pin point. also, the tv some times makes a low humming sound from the back, is this a power supply or something. thanks.

The humming is probably the power supply and one dead pixel is considered normal from the manufacturers point of view. That said, I'd still return it. I don't think a new tv should have any problems.

Need to change LCD panel.humming sound is power supply unit. so send all back to SONY or local service agent !!
