  1. It's been a long time since I did maths. If 1 is equal to 60 minutes (I hour) then 12 minutes is 0.2 or 20% (12/60 X 100). Does that seem right?

  2. How many 12 minutes are in one hour?

12*5 = 60, so there are 5 lots of 12 in one hour.

Therefore 12 minutes is 1/5 of an hour, or 0.2 hours.

(12/60 = 0.2  -that would be the quick way to find it)
