Simple carving longboarding, 10 points?

Question

i want to learn how to longboard so badly! im gonna get one in about a week but i want to learn how to carve and cruise, and thats all i dont really wanna do tricks or anything.

um i can ski pretty well if that helps compair, probs not

Its really not that hard, just learn to lean, then start to bend your knees and pull the middle of the board towards the left or right (whichever youre leaning to.)  Just try it, youll realize its not that hard.
