  1. Oh, I get it, when you combine those phrases, you make a statement. Cool.

  2. I got one.

At the bar order one shot of whiskey and ask for an identical shot glass filled with water.

The propisition is that you will get all of the whiskey into the glass currently holding the water, and all of the water into the glass currently holding the whiskey.  To do this you will not use any other container, including your mouth.

After they scratch their heads for a bit you get out a playing card (or a drinks coaster works too) and press it firmly to cover the mouth of the glass that contains the water.  Then flip the glass upside down making sure to keep the card firmly pressed upwards to stop any water seeping out the sides of the card.  Then carefull balance the glass and card on top of the whiskey glass.  You need to perfectly line the rims of the two glasses up.  Then, ever so gently, start to slide the playing card out from one side.  You only want to make a gap of a couple of millimetres.

What happens now is that gravity takes over.  Water happens to be heavier than whiskey and if the gap you left is small enough the two types of liquid will slowly transfer and after ten minutes will have totally swapped.  You can then close the gap and carefully take off the top glass which is now filled with the whiskey - hey presto.

  3. Bet them that you can walk across the room/bar/field on your hands.  When they accept bend down, put your hands under your shoes, and walk around "on your hands".

  4. Bet them with 2:1 odds meaning they pay you tne and youll pay them 20 if... when you flip a coin ten times it WILL NOT land on heads exactly 5 times.

Mathmatically this bet is in your favore slightly, but chances are they will argue how they are totally about to take your 20 dollars, because ON AVERAGE a coin fliped ten times will always land on head half the time, unfortunately this logic has little to do with why the bet is in your favor.

You can make more money if they agree to tak a 1:1 payout, only offer 2:1 is they refuse 1:1.

  5. i think he may have meant proposition bets that you can play at the bar for free drinks with friends

    or i could be wrong

  6. Money scams, as you put it, are NOT funny.  In fact, if you think it IS, I suggest you watch your back.

    Pete
