Question

i just rented a post office box and when i get somethin in the box will the post office call and tell me i have a package or do i have to keep going and checking and ppl dont be rude im having an pretty bad day and any rude comment will be reported... thx!!!!

You just need to go and check it.  They should have given you a key so you can go any time, even when the post office is closed as the box is on the outside.  They don&#039;t ring you though.  The advantage of a post box is that you don&#039;t have to give away your home address to companies and it is safer.  It is also safer as no one can steal your mail. I don&#039;t know if it is too late but you should try and get one that is either near your work or near the shops or walking distance to your house to make it easier.  But i also don&#039;t think it is important to check every day because even bills give you a couple of weeks to pay.

I think you just have to go and keep checking it, otherwise the post office would be quite busy calling everyone everyday telling them that they have mail.

yea you have to keep checking it.would be nice if they did call you..they will let you know if you get a certified letter though
