Simple stock market questions (buying/selling)?

I'm playing a fantasy stocks game and I have a question. If my selling price is 4.75p what does it mean if my buy price is at 5.25p?

Is it that, if I sell those stocks it will be at 4.75p but if I buy it I will pay 5.25p, so I should wait until it changes and I can sell at 5.25p?

  1. Buying/selling should be based is a stock's price worth X amount and not taxes and commissions

A bad stock is a hole in your pocket so do you repair the hole or wait

You can never pick the a stock's high or low (other than zero), so you trade on is a stock worth X

  2. It's your spread. its basically a commission to your broker for completing the transaction.
