Simple way to block websites on Mozilla Firefox ??

I needed a simple way to block websites in Mozilla Firefox .. i have saw d website addons smth .. it does work .. but in my computer we have many accounts and it just blocked those websites on my account .. i wanted a website that will block website on d whole computer .. i hope u get what i mean .. coz diz sounds a bit confusing to me too

  1. Unfortunately for firefox what you're doing is the only way you can do it.  A user account on windows makes a solitary set of settings etc..  so anything you do on one account won't affect the other accounts.  You have to do it on all of them.


  2. download a free addon to firefox called WOT from mywot.com

    and you will never have to worry about which websites to block


  3. Simple way to block websites:

    > Go to the Start Menu

    > Run

    > "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\"

    > Open the "hosts" file in Notepad

    It will have like:

    127.0.0.1  localhost

    Simply add websites underneath that so to block google it will look like.

    127.0.0.1 localhost

    127.0.0.1 http://www.google.com
