Question:

Simpler way to make a trellis?

Please take this question seriously. My father and I are growing cucumbers, and so far we have only made two trellis for the cucumber vines. We used chicken wire and two sturdy pieces of wood and used electric staples to nail down the chicken wire. Only problem is that every time my father tries to hammer them on the wood, the electric staples start to bend and not nail in straight. do you have any simpler ideas on how to make a trellis (other than getting a professional gardener to make one for us) for my cucumbers? That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  1. ELECTRIC STAPLERS ARE LIGHT DUTY AND A WASTE OF TIME FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING . GO TO A BUILDING SUPPLY IN YOUR AREA AND GET A LB. OF FENCING STAPLES AND PUT THEM IN WITH A HAMMER . ----AND HAVE A CUCUMBER - ONION - VINEGAR SALAD FOR ME .
