Question:

Simplest way to treat combination skin???

I've heard that you cannot treat your combination skin the same. I, for a while, just did an acne cream and used if a moisturizer if needed. I now use just a regular cleanser and an astringent on the acne. Is this a good idea? How do you do it? I just want the simplest way to deal with my skin so it doesn't bother me, because I get busy during the school year. There's acne on my forehead, top of my nose, and chin.

Thanks so much!

Oh! I use Clean and Clear by the way. (:

  1. sorry hun, but there is no simple way. your going to have to put work and patience into clearing your skin. begin now because its going to take a while and cost a bit

okay this is what to do

    "Eat Healthier"

    STUFF YOU SHOULD EAT:

vegetables leafy greens cellary brocolie ext

    fruits peacheas pears bluberys ext.

    whole grains

8 glasses of water each day

good fat: omega 3 and 6 from fish peanuts and seeds

    YOU SHOULDN'T EAT:

packaged foods like cupcakes chips ext.

bad fats such as trans fat saturated fat ext.

foods rich in iodine (TABLE SALT)

    foods loaded with sugar

    DO get pleanty of sleep

and dont touch pick or squezze your pimples

    AND MY SECRET

you will most likely skip the whole diet thing and try your luck at a get clear quick scheme -.- please dont your skin is your biggest organ  your breaking out because there is somthing wrong with your body do you think you could clear your skin for good. by cleansing it from the outside in? i think not cleanse your body from the inside out because you will not only improve your acne but you will improve your health and the way you feel... anyways enough with that what i used to get rid of my acne was Green Tea

buy the decafinated kind and dont buy a cheap brand buy a decent one like lipton or tetly becasue they are free of perservatives and are 100% green tea

for 3 days drink 6-8 glasses of green tea  recomended decafinated drink it with no sugar  if you find it to bitter add a spoonful of honey or a couple of lemon drops d once your done take the tea bag and wipe it on your face

and after the 3 days drink about 2-4 cups a day and apply a tea bag to your face a night and in the morning

only do the 8 cups of green tea for 3 days because even too much of a good thing could be bad.

this remedy worked extremly well for me if you want any tips or have any questions just ask

THIS remedy is worth trying its not rubbish feel free to search acne and green tea on google

  2. go to the dermatologist and talk to him/her about your options

  3. To me nothing is easy about my combination skin. Oily parts... dry parts. I'm also very acne prone and also have skin damage from the sun. Things that have worked for me have been aveeno positively radiant gentle foam cleanser with no moisturizer a few years ago, then I changed to Dove rose (pink) or energy glow beauty bar with olay 7x effects moisturizer and now my skin is doing the best of all. I'm using olay regenerist daily thermal mini peel 4 or 5 times a week, using dove rose (pink) to wash my face the other times, applying olay all day complete sensitive skin moisturizer after every time I wash it and I'm starting to use neutrogena gentle alcohol free toner to sooth my skin in between washing. I wash and moisturize at 8am, use toner at 5-8pm and wash and moisturize again about 11pm. My dry spots aren't so dry and my oily spots aren't as oily now. I also don't use a lot of makeup. I'm wearing everyday minerals in semi-matte instead of bare minerals now if I'm wearing foundation. Bare minerals worked great for me for 3 years but the everyday minerals is even better because it has the same ingredients minus the bismuth oxychloride (look it up on wikipedia and it might scare you too!).

  4. Cucumbers on eyelids

    mayonnaise in the hair

    and last but not least,

    rose petals on the lips.

of course for an added appearance of being "dolled up"

layer on blush. That should help.

    THANKS MARY KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

  5. its different for everyone. everyone has different skin and reacts differently. if clean and clear isnt working then try something else. a good moisterizer is good. i used clean and clear and just some baby cream. then i started using vasaline intensive rescue no scent and all my blemishes went away. you can also dry them out. if its just a few spots then use some lavender on them to dry them out. if its serious acne then try pro active. aparently its really really good.

    hope it helped!
