Simplicity Bassinet recalled?

More recalls on some bassinets. This makes me really worry about the products that I have for my baby. I thought I would post this in case any of you moms haven't seen it yet, but also to find out what all the different websites there are to check on recalls? Has anyone had problems with a recalled item? I know the crib I have (crib 4 life) had a recall on the drop down gate already and my baby isn't even born yet but all they did was send me new hinges to put on.

This is what I use.  For Americans, it lists all recalls that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission gives out.  I get food info and other recalls, but you can decide which ones you want.  

You just have to take a deep breath sometimes.  A lot gets recalled.  Especially iron-based paint.

(Which makes me wonder, since your link is cpsc why are you bothering with anything else?  That's the main source and they do the email notifications.)

Babycenter.com is great for updates like that. They will send regular emails about articles that would interest you or week-by-week milestones of your baby.  They also include recalls.
