Simpliest explaniation of dvd burning....?

I want to make back ups of my movies so that way my nieces and nephews wouldn't destroy the orginal ones. How do I do this? What program to I need so that we can play them on our regular DVD player? SIMPLIEST EXPLAINATION please..... thanks so much!

There are numbers of softwares you can use to BURN or Copy movies(non-copyrighted). I my self use Super DVD creator to do so. You can use Nero Burning as well but that is little advance and you will need to DVD and CD ROM in your computer.

So, what you do is, put the dvd in the drive. Then Copy the movie file in to My Documents or Desktop. Then go to Super DVD creator, insert blank disc in. Then burn the copied video file to blank DVD. Simple.

Go to Youtube.com as well and see if you can find in tutorial on burning DVD movies.
