  1. Hi,

    7/8 - n - 9/9 + 13/7 =

    7/8 - n - 1 + 13/7 =

    Get a common denominator of 56 for all numbers.

    49//56 - n - 56/56 + 104/56 =

    97/56 - n <== ANSWER

    Second Solution if you want a common denominator for everything:

    7/8 - n - 9/9 + 13/7 =

    7/8 - n - 1 + 13/7 =

    Get a common denominator of 56 for all terms.

    49//56 - 56n/56 - 56/56 + 104/56 =

    97 - 56n

    ------------ <== ANSWER with common denominator

    ....56

    I hope that helps!! :-)

  2. -n= -7/8+9/9-13/7

    n= 7/8-1+13/7

    n= 100/56 = 25/14

  3. I assume you wanted to solve

    7/8 - [(n-9)/9] + 13/7

    now make the denominator equal

    [(7X9X7)/(8X9X7)] - [{(n-9)X8X7}/(9X7X8)] +[(13X9X8)/(7X8X9)]

    = [441/(7X8X9)] - [(56n - 504)/(7X8X9)] + [936/(7X8X9)]

    = [(441 - 56n + 504 +936)/(7X8X9)]

    = (1881 - 56n )/ 504

    = (1881/504) - (n/9)

    Hope this come to your help :))
