Simplifying equations?

a(2a + 6)/3 - (a2 + 3a)/2

common denom= 6

2a(2a+6)/6 -3(a^2 +3a)/6

4a^2+12a-3a^2 -9a/6

a^2 -3a/6

a(a-3)/6

i fixed it- thanks other poster- when yr red pen runs out i should take that as a sign to go to bed!

I don't think the answer above is correct, a c.  It looks like you multiplied the second expression by 2/3 when you should have multiplied by 3/3.

Of course, I'm not a math teacher like you, so maybe I missed something.
