    8x^3(7x^6-7x^5+5)/(-8x^3)=

    -7x^6+7x^5-5


  2. first factor 56X^8 from the first half, then simplify the division problem. the x^3 cancels out, and 40/-8 is -5

    your answer is

    56X^8(x-1) - 5

  3. since a / just means division, divide the numerator by the denominator: 56x^9/-8x^3= -7x^6(with exponents you subtract the exponents)

    -7x^6  +   -56x^8/-8x^3=-7x^6+7x^5 now add 40x^3/-8x^3 which is -5. Put them all together: -7x^6+7x^5-5

  4. -7x^6+7x^5-5

    divide the -8 into each of the numbers and  subtract 3 from each of the exponents
