Sims 2 Apartment Life Problems?

Question

I recently encountered a problem with my Game. I got it a few days a go and it just stopped working. When i pressed the play button it would come up with a black screen. I uninstalled it and lost ALL my files (meaning: Downloaded stuff, Movies, Famillies, neighbourhoods etc.) If this has happened to any one or if you know how i can get my downloaded files back plz tell me!!!

P.S the files just disappered!

well, sorry but once you uninstall it gets rid of all files. Its a shame, Apartment Life is awesome and you wasted money Ha!

Hey Lozza.

Dont worry, just reinstall it. I know you wont get your stuff back but if you downloaded from Mod the sims 2 theres a list of stuff that you downloaded. Also don't listen to that other guy, considering it came out tuesday you can still take it back if it dosen't work when you reinstall it. Soz bout all that,
