Sims 2 CD/DVD Question.?

I want to get the Sims 2 and noticed that Deluxe & Double Deluxe are DVDs, and I only have a CD Drive. Mother refuses to get us a DVD drive.

Are any of Sims 2 Games (Like the regular first one) just CD's?

If you download the game, you neither need a dvd drive and non a cd drive.

yes, you can get either CD or DVD versions of the game however the CD version has 4 discs you need to put in your drive for installing it. You can buy it from the Sims 2 website: www.thesims2.ea.com

I'm almost positive that The Sims 2 calls it DVD but it works in a CD drive.
