Sims 2 DS - Help please?

Question

I'm at the part where i've paid Frankie Fusilli 1000 simoleons for the airfare for a relative and he has given me a 'gift' to give to Mayor Jackson (or "Honest" Jackson as Frankie calls him). Now, i've gone over to City Hall and given Mayor Jackson the cow head and he's said about how unexpected it is blah blah blah but it hasn't said my misson has been completed and as result of this, as read in the walkthrough, i haven't been able to recieve a phonecall about the fire in the Mayor's office.

I can't get the cow head back now can i? What should i do? Any tips?

hmmmm....its been a while since i played it but i think you do have to wait abit before you get tht call. and no, you cant get the cowhead back. you probably dont want it either unless you want to be set on fire. so yh...i'd wait abit longer for the call and if you dont get it soon there might be something wrong with the game
