Sims 2 Deluxe wont work properly?

my sister bought the sims 2 deluxe 4 days ago. and when you finish your family the graphics become all fuzzy.like the characters body is really wide when it shouldn't, your hair also goes missing and it sometime looks like you house is being taken into darkness. when we try to exit our computer crashes. it already crashed 3 times. and we have vista. also when we try to put in codes the game wont except it. and have more than enough space for the game!

It sounds like a graphics issue. What graphics card do you have? You also need 2 gigs of RAM if you are playing on Vista.

If you have less than 2 gigs of RAM or a card that isn't listed you will have to upgrade in order to play your game.
