Sims 2 Glitch, Occurs ever since I installed Free Time?

Okay. My sims make a meal but then once they grab it, they, shift around a bit and then the food disappears. It may or may not involve free time but its kept my sims from eating, I've had to use maxmotives to keep them from starving. They cook it fine, then the food disappears. WTF?

Did you install the patch for FreeTime? If not, you need to go to the EA website and get it. You can get the patch here: http://thesims2.ea.com/update/?pid=Help_...

You could also have a conflict with your custom content. If you use any hacks/mods, make sure you have the FreeTime version. Free Time seems to be filled with bugs, so finding your solution could take a little time.

UPDATE: I was answering a question for someone on OFB and came across a thread at Mod the Sims 2 called "Disappearing Food." Do you have a download called "finishcustomfood.package"? This can cause food to disappear.
