Sims 2: I have made 2 different families in two different lots

Question

I have made two different families and put them into 2 different lots. When i am being one family will all the other familes grow up and go on with sim life at the same time By the CPU

The game is paused while you are 'playing' with other families. You may see those sims walking around community lots but that isn't actually part of the game. When you quit, then go back to your sims family they are in exactly the same positions when you left them with the same wants and needs.

no you have to play the other familes in order for them to grow up

When playing one you will see members of your other family on your screen sometimes, but when you play on the other family, it will start off where you last saved it. So don't worry about it.

No they won't. They only will if you play on their Lots. (:
