Sims 2 Nightlife cheats not working?

So I installed Sims 2 Nightlife and control + shift + c doesn't work, so I can't type in any cheats. Any ideas on how I could fix this?

I've never heard of this problem before.  I looked at some websites and they say that ctrl+shift+c should work.  Are you sure you are hitting the right button combination?

Make sure that you are holding down all three keys at the same time, not pushing them one after the other.

If that isn't the problem, make sure that you have installed the NL patch.  You can find it here:
