Sims 2 Nintendo DS, 2 questions???

Hi, I have to questions about the sims 2 game:

1. I got tumbleweeds and had no idea how to get rid of them so I went on some gaming website and it told me to call the gardener, and there is a maid available but not a gardener, how do i contact the gardener??

2. How do i get the ghost? My sister's one has the ghost, but mine doesnt... how do i get it???

I dont know how to get the ghost but the gardener she be on your phone under services have you looked under the phone?
