Sims 2 Open for Business Industrial stove

HELPPPP!!!!! The sims 2 open for business..... the industrial stove is NOWHERE to be found... i've checked collections ... .misc.... stove.... electronics..... and my rest. wont work with a regular stove b/c it says i need to get a industrial .... this is NOT an in-home restaurant.... plz help..... =(....... literally, nowhere.

I opened my game to see where I could find it.

If you are in buy mode in a community lot you can actually find it in three different places.

If you click on the picture that looks like a chair with a lamp beside it (Sort by Function) and then on Appliances you should see it on the bottom right.  It is white, has a shelf above it and a counter attached to it on the right-hand side of it.  It sells for $2,500.

If you click on what looks like a counter with a cash register sitting on it (Community Sort) and then on Food and then Appliances, it shows up as the last thing in that category.

If you click on the Collections Folder and then hit the arrow until you see one that is light blue with a white plate and utensils on it called Restaurant Community Collection to open that folder, then you need to click on the right arrow one time and you will see the stove in the top row, the fourth from the left.

If you truly cannot find it, then you may have downloaded a piece of custom content that was poorly made.  When creators make custom content, often they take an object from the game and make modifications to the item to make it look and sometimes even function differently than it does in the game.  When the creator does this, they are supposed to give it a new GUID so that it does not overwrite the object that it was based off of in the game.  If you downloaded any custom made stoves, this may be what's causing it.  Although in reality, it may not even be a stove.  The creator could have taken it and made it into many different things.

So, if you can't find it in any of the locations I stated above, then my suggestion to you is to pull out your downloads folder.  Just place it anywhere else like on your desktop.  Now go back into your game to see if you now have the stove back again.  If you do, then you will need to try to figure out what may have overwritten it.  That can be difficult to do, but as I said if you have downloaded any custom stoves I would start with those.
