Sims 2 Pc Game- Please Help If You Can!?

Well...i was trying to kill time because i was waiting for something. Anyway, what happened was i was fast forwarding it and the last thing i knew was that one of my sims was taking out the trash. Suddenly i heard really loud crying so i went to look who it was and one of my sims was upset because the one taking out the trash had just died. Her grave stone is just in front of the trash can. Because i was fast forwarding it, and because i was looking at the house in a different view, i didn't see how she died. Any ideas of what might of happened to her? I don't have a clue and its really annoying me!

Please help if you can...thank you.

Age? Apparently they can be crushed by a satellite, starvation, spontaneous combustion (your sim just bursts into flames).

There really is no way to know how the Sim died, at least I do not think so. I have almost every expansion pack and there isn't anything to tell you how it happened. The only thing that is remotely close is the reaper phone that comes with University, I think - but that only resurrects them.
