Okay, so I know this game is old, but I just got it. I have the Sims 2 Double Deluxe already installed and love it. I installed University with no problems. I moved one of my teen girls into a dorm, and claimed her room. But now, all the stuff in everyone else rooms are gone. When i go into Buy Mode it's all there. Is this just how it works because they aren't my rooms? I'm so confused! Any help would be appreciated.

  1. theres nothing wrong, you just can't see in their rooms.

thats why there are thought bubbles infront of their doors.

i guess because they are private. its just the way the

    game was made.

    =)

  2. I just got the new sims apartment life and when you have a sim move into another apartment, it will fade the other one out so it is easier to see the room you are playing. Good Luck ! ~ Ariel ~ !

  3. all the stuff is still in there rooms, its just private when ur not in the room. go into there rooms and youll see it. you just cant see it from outside there room cuz they need privacy

  4. It's intentionally that way.  Fewer objects showing = better game play.

  5. yes, because is not your room so they not gonna so it.

it's the same as sim bon voyage, when u claim a hotel room, the other room is empty.

    so don't worry about it.

    everything is ok.

just the way the game set up.

    have fun.

i like the games a lot

  6. i was confuzed at first too but thats normal dont worry =]

i dont really know why its like that lol.

  7. You are  right! After your sim moves in the room, all other rooms are invisible. Well, actually they turn invisible after other sims claim them. Even sims need privacy I guess. You can go into rooms that aren't locked. Then all of the stuff in the room is visible.

    Hope that helps!

  8. Thats the computer character's dorms. When they go in their dorm, all the items in it fade away. But it won't happen in your room. They usually have thought bubbles and you can see what the computer characters are thinking. I don't think it makes much sense but thats what it does..
