Sims 2 bodyshop meshing help?

Hi I am kind-of new on this sims 2 bodyshop and I want to get new types of hair and clothes to put on the sims 2 bodyshop. How can I do that? I can I put new meshes or new types of hair and clothes to the sims 2 bodyshop? I get tired of the bodyshop defaults. Please, give me very specific details. (How to download and transfer them from my downloads for to the sims 2 body shop or whatever) Thanks

Anything that is in your Downloads folder gets loaded into Body Shop when you start it up.  You can't create new meshes with Body Shop but you can recolor existing ones.  If you want new hair meshes you'll either have to get a 3d program and learn how to mesh or download ones that someone else has already made.  Sims Resource and ModtheSims2 are two places where you can get hair from.  There are other places too just type Sims 2 hair into a search engine and you should get a pretty good sized list.
