Sims 2 can't get on Veronaville or Strangetown?

Question

Hiya, i have recently found out that when i click to get on to the Veronaville or Strangetown neighbourhoods, it freezes and wont let me on them. The wierd thing is that i can still get on pleasantview!

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

P.S I have used cheats in Strangetown but not alot. Could this be the problem?

This never happened to me but I don't think this was caused by the cheats. I think this is the fault of either your computer or the Sims 2 cd. Sorry if I didn't help much.

I use cheats all the time, and mine haven't ruined the game. I suggest you start over but make sure you save the games. So reinstall or uninstall. I think mine did that once years ago when I had an old PC so I just restarted. In my experience cheats don't do damage beause otherwise they wouldn't include them in the booklet and on the website but I suppose everyone's PC is different.

cheats and hacked items can couse games to freeze you  need to remove all cheats item and hacked  to see if  they have couse the trouble

Mine did this with families.

Lucky i moved the families out and it was sorted but you may just have to reinstall it i'm afraid.

Sorry, you need to re-install it. OR get a patch for the game from the Sims 2 official site. Cheats didn't cause it though.
