Question:

Sims 2 customc content trouble. ?

Hi, I've got some custom content that was installed as a package (with the body shop icon) that isn't showing up in the Downloads folder, but it shows up when I start up the game. It is interfering with my game and makes it crash when I scroll through the Decorations catalogue in-game.

How can I delete custom content that was installed TO the game and isn't actually IN the downloads folder?

I have SimPE but I'm not sure how to use it to fix the problem.

Thank you very much

  1. You can delete it in the game itself.  Simply go to the catalog it's under, find the item, then click on the trash can icon at the far right of the page.  It's now delete from your game.

Chances are, if the file isn't in the Downloads folder, it's in another folder, like Collections for example.  It depends on what it is you actually downloaded.
