Sims 2 double deluxe or sims 2 apartment life?

The Sims 2 Double Deluxe includes the Base Game, the Night Life expansion pack, and the Celebration Stuff Pack. The Sims 2 Apartment life in an upcoming expansion pack, meaning it does not include the base game. Unless you have the base game, you will not be able to do anything with it. If you already have the base game, I'm not sure why you'd want to buy Double Deluxe, because you're paying for the Base Game in addition to the expansion and stuff pack, which you already have - unless you're buying from somewhere it's cheaper to buy than the expansion and stuff pack alone, in which case you have still wasted your money on the original base game.

Get double deluxe for now, and enjoy. Then get apartment life, when it comes out in Aug. Then after that, is the sims 3.
