Sims 2 for ps2 why dont they talk in english?

the language is Simlish

cost was major issue, as it would mean each language would need re-translating, jsut useing simlish and symbols inthe speech bubbels meant they could easily ship it to loads of diffrnet countires.

They don't talk english in any games..it would take to much time to record it all dont you think..?

Because the original game had a low budget and they didnt have the time or money to reocrd the thousands of lines of dialogue recquirted.

And from that they felt it was a Sims tradition and kept the goddledegook language.

It's a game, I'm sure it really doesn't matter what they speak.
