Question

i need help i want to try different things on the sims 2 like i always have the same guy and family style and house design and i need help especially with house design even links and stuff, and i dont want to down load houses or try to build real ones thanks for you help

Pick a different personality, maybe one totally different from your own. Create a person/family based on these various personality traits, then decide what kind of life you want them to have. Maybe have a struggling artist who lives in a one room tiny house and have them work their way up, or something--it can be fun to explore a different lifestyle!

If you can, buy an extension pack or something just to freshen things up a bit. Plus you'll get  new material! I love to work on two families at once in hopes that they'll connect somehow and start their own family. Try decorating your houses differently, make a gothic family. Or a very earthy  gardening family. Or a trashy family. Or even a stuck up polo sporting family. I love making a bunch of stereotypes and blending them together. But, I sometimes stick with the stuff I like best too. I usually like to make  my sims have family as an aspiration. Maybe you do something similar? Just tweak it a bit and experiment.
