I just installed my Sims 2 game; it installed fine, but every time I try to play it; it freezes at sometime and I can't unfreeze it. I never had the problem on my dad's laptop; only my moms. Help???

  1. Does your computer meet the game's requirements? If it's freezing up, then you probably either don't have enough RAM on the computer or the computer's graphics card isn't good enough. If you need the requirements, here's a link: http://compsimgames.about.com/od/thesims...

If the computer the game's installed on now meets these requirements, then try updating the computers drivers. This site will help you do this if you don't already know how: http://www.cyberwalker.com/article/449

  2. Did you for some reason use a no-cd crack? If you put the crack in the wrong folder it iwll s***w it up adn freeze and all you have to do is move it to the correct folder, which is the TSBin folder.

  3. More then likely you don't have enough RAM to run sims 2 and the antiviral/antispyware software at the same time. Pause the virus/spyware programs while playing the sims 2 and you'll likely see an improvement. It's a well known problem/issue that they both gobble up the RAM
