Sims 2 question??????

I can't find the sim modder!

1. Do I have to download it?

2. Is it because I use a mac?

3. Don't tell me where it's supposed to be. I know. It's not there. (shift+click - spawn - more)

4. I don't have any extensions (nightlife, etc.) just the base game.

WHY CAN'T I FIND IT!
