Im using www.thesimsresource.com for downloads for my sims 2 games, but when I go to download things it asks me where I want to save them. (Im on windows xp, not mac or anything). I clicked on EA games for saving it under, and then it came up with the following subfolders for me to save under

- cameras

- collections

- config

- lockedBins

- logs

- lotcatalog

- movies

- music

- neighborhoods

- paintings

- petbreeds

- pet coats

- SC4 terrains

- storytelling

- teleport

- thumbnails.

what one do I choose?

  1. None of those.

    The correct directory is C:\Documents and Settings\User name\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads

If you do not have a Downloads folder it is easy to create it yourself.

Just right-click on some blank space somewhere inside the C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 directory. Choose 'New' then 'folder'. Name it Downloads with a capital D.

Now you have your Downloads folder.

Double check that the correct path for this folder is C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads

Now this Downloads folder is where all your downloads should be extracted/installed to.
