Sims...got some questions!?

Question

i just bought "the sims: build buy live".i thought it would be good but it was terrible!why can't i go to any other Town at all and visit other people?also,can i make an individual character?it always say there i have to create a "family".but i just want to start as a bachelor there and gain a girlfriend...what to do?i also want to get a pet.is that possible?

pls. help.confused!this is a very unusual game.

You need to create a family BUT you can only make one person in it. That person can move in by themselves. The best way to get a girlfriend to create one and move them in next door. You need to buy Sims 2 pets (if your playing sims 2 ) or sims Unleashed in sims 1 to get a pet. You may want these cheats codes too.

Sims 2: press Alt+shift+c at the same time to get cheat menu

           motherlode = 50,000 money

           moveobjects(on) = move anything

           help = lists all cheats

Sims 1: Same as 2 to access cheat menu

           rosebud;;;;;;;;;;; = 1000 money

           move_objects on = move anything

um i cant answer the other questions but i can answer the one about the family issue...even though the button says create family you can still just create one sim on it so just create the sim then press ok the the end it should take a picture of your sim then you are ready to play...hope that helped

In Sims, you can create a bachelor first.

You have to buy Sims 2 and get the extension: Pets if you want to get a pet. They offer cats, dogs, birds (and they can even get a job!).

Sims: build buy live isn't that fun. I would suggest that you buy Sims 2, that one is much much more fun if you're into the Sims deal. Plus you can get extension packs to add on. If you're not in a hurry, then wait for the Sims 3, which is coming out soon enough.

why dont you google the sims and there should be a site that will give you a proper site to ask that question, There is probably alot of forums for that game that will answer your problem.
