Question:

Sims superstar not working?

by  |  earlier

Whenever I put the cd in, it comes up with the autoplay. I click on play and the box window comes up that says superstar, but then a window pops up saying "Insert correct CD-ROM and restart application"

I have the correct cd in so why isn't it working?!?!? And yes, it's disc one...I just don't get it.

and yes I have sims 1 installed. I'm not dumb. This just isn't working.

please help

  1. Try opening the program a differnt way. After the cd is in and you want to play either click your desktop icon or open it from my programs, or go into my computer and right click your cd and hit autoplay.

  2. hmm.....perhaps your CD player is damaged?  test it with a different CD.

perhaps you CD is damaged, look it over in fine detail

perhaps the CD is not inserted properly into to CD player

Perhaps you computer needs a little finicky rest, try restarting

perhaps you need more memory or Ram, low memory does not allow the computer proper time to load/unload by human impatient statuses

perhaps your CD data is corrupted.

is this the same issue for other games?

if you reinstall the Sims from the beginning, does it do the same thing?
