Sims2 Question #15-(Bon Voyage)?

If you go on vacation & you bring a child with you, will their grades go down and what not? I see the little "vacation days" thing in the skills and career slot, but idk how to get vacation days! please tell me how to get vacation days, or if i even have to worry about it!

It's best to call in a Nanny to take care of kids while your other Sims are on vacation.  The longer your Sims work at one job, and the more they're promoted, gives you vacation days...But you don't really have to worry about this, as mine have never needed vacation days to keep the job in the first place.
