  1. 6c = 4-2c

    8c=4

    c= 1/2

  2. a = both of them so they both equal each other so

    4-2c=6c  (plus 2c to both sides)

    4=8c   (divide by 8)

    1/2= c  (as the person above said)

    Then found out a by putting your value for c back in to one of them

    a= 6 * 1/2

    a=3

  3. a=6c

    since a = 4-2c

    4-2c=6c

    8c=4

    c=1/2

    a=4-2*1/2

    a=3

  4. solution:

    Q1→ a = 4-2c

    Q2→ a = 6c

    substitute:

    4-2c = 6c

    4 = 6c + 2c

    4 = 8c

    c = ½ → answer

    then

    a = 6c

    a = 6(½)

    a = 3 → answer
