Sin + cos/sin-cos =sec + csc/ sec-csc...pls prove?

  1. thats easy. divide numerator and denominator by sin*cos.

    the numerator becomes (sin+cos)*(1/sin*cos) which is sec+csc.

    similarly denominator is sec-csc.


  2.    sec + csc / sec- csc = (1/cos + 1/sin) / (1/cos - 1/sin)

    = [ (sin+cos) / sin cos ] / ] ( sin - cos ) / sin cos]

    = (sin + cos) /  (sin - cos)
