If they are disastrous, it is on the same sacle as in any other part of the world and the reasons are the same. For your information, people infected and affected by AIDS are so much caring you'd swallow your prejudice.

I dont think marriage is disastrous.  Tell me... are you just trying to rationalize failure to commit to someone, and thus promiscuity in our own culture?  I dont really get it.  Why would anyone pose an argument against marriage?  Do you seriously think marrying into a sexually monogamous commitment poses an increased risk of contracting an STD?  Because if you do then you need to get your s*x-ed course out of the way.

What marriages?  Most of them just sleep around.  Labola (a dowry) of 6 to 8 cows is very expensive.  Some even pay it of in installments.
