  1. Well, I'm from the U.K. and even I can tell you that Goose Island, Samuel Adams, Sierra Nevada & Brooklyn make  beers a thousand times better than wretched Budweiser so who cares??

You have some fantastic beers in the U.S. of A ... just look for them!

  2. Yuengling

  3. Rolling Rock owned by Latrobe in STL

I would like to state for the record that Budweiser does not taste bad like people give it **** for! It IS actually a very well balanced beer that found a middle ground so that alot of people would drink it. And secondly this is all A-Bs fault. They threw away over 130 years of AMERCIAN FAMILY OWNED TRADITION. I know it sounds really cheesy but drinking bud and seeing the commercials made me feel proud to be an american. But now I am just pissed they saw those dollar sign and were blinded. Well anyway I need a new american beer that comes in cans so I can take it to the racetrack on saturday night. Any suggestions.

  4. Budweiser (Anheuser-Busch) is Belgian.

Miller Coors is owned by SAB (South African Brewers).

    Heineken is from the Netherlands.

    Modelo is half-Mexican half-Belgian...they are 50% owned by A-B.

Guess you'll just have to buy craft beer made by your local microbrewery.

    EDIT:

    Martini,

Blue Moon is brewed by Coors, which was owned my Molson (Canadian) until two weeks ago when it was bought by Miller, which is owned by South African Brewing company.

    It isn't American either.

and it is a poor example of a Belgian beer anyway.

  5. DUDE.....it is not budweiser's fault....the american dollar is worth nothing in other countries.....making it fu*kin easy for them to buy and take over the beer companies and other $hit in america....so keep drinkin Budweiser if you like it...!!! Mother fu*kin people.......

  6. Maybe beer that actually tastes like beer.

  7. support your local brewery.......go green!

  8. Blue Moon or Sam Adams - YUMMY!

  9. Dude, you're better off.  Unless you like the taste of beer in cans - it just tastes like metal to me.

Do yourself a favor, try some better beer, microbrews, that come in bottles.  Yuengling, Brooklyn beer, Sam Adams, Anchor Steam, anything from Stone brewery or Dogfish Head.

Or go to a beer festival where you can sample a LOT of really great beer and expand your horizons.

Who knows, maybe Budweiser beer will get better now - Michelob used to have just one sucky flavor, now they've got a whole line of flavors - Honey Bock, Porter, etc.  They're obviously trying to copy Sam Adams, but that's not a bad thing...

  10. I know I won't be buying anymore Bud.

    American made all the way!

  11. You may as well drink the same thing. Nothing is changing except each time you buy their beverage, you are no longer putting money into the American consumer pocket.

Its a shame, but now I am more than positive that the next American staple stone to be sold over seas will likely be Ford. (Its perfect for a hostile take over by a Japenese import company like Honda or worse case...... Hyundai.)

Nice work America.... your patriotism only fuels the rest of the worlds economy. Perhaps now its time to relinquish the racism and put a stop to our great nation being the "whoremungers" for the rest of the free world. Dumb *****

  12. homebrew

  13. Sam Adams, great beer and lots of variety. Most important: American made and American owned!

  14. You LIKED Budweiser?? Try a basic import, it's twice the beer Bud ever was.

  15. Coors.  Always has been better beer.  Unless you WANTED your beer to act as a laxative.
