  1. We are all egyptians not muslims or christians or whatever ......

dont think of a person according to his religion , Christians are not a minority in egypt because they are Egyptians they're just like the muslims

dont say most christians think so and so or most muslims say dat nd dat.... koleina masreyeen ya3ni we koleina 7abayeb

  2. I agree with samy,

This days in Egypt , People (Muslims or Christians or even without religions) suffer from the government , both dont have enough money to live bcoz of the stupid salaries,

I mean when the police treat a person with a bad way , they don't care abt their religions, what is important is that he is poor Egyptian without any relations to well known guys .

  3. Well I am a Christian from Egypt, and I think some Muslims couldn't care less if Christians faced discrimination. However, I have many Muslims friends and they are as good as any Christian friend I have. People are people, and people either care about human rights or don't. Some Christians might not care if Muslims or other religions face prejudice, same with any religion. It is the individual and what is in their heart. Most Egyptians I know just want to enjoy life, and avoid misery. Whether Copt or Muslim we need to work together to ensure that everybody has equal rights, and that people don't suffer. Because with the pricing crisis in Masr, among other social problems, cooperation is the only way to solve these issues.

I am very, very pleased that you are unhappy about the treatment of non-Muslims in Egypt. I thank you. Masr needs people like you. We are brothers and sisters and we built Masr together.

I don't think all Muslims are content or happy with the treatment of Christians, Baha'i's, etc. Some of course couldn't care less, some might care but not wish to say anything about it, and some might feel hurt by it. It all depends on the individual and what is in your heart. I believe Christians, Muslims, Bahai's can all co-exist. And I hope, and pray that Muslims aren't happy with how minorities are treated.

I hope that brawls, and sectarian violence does not occur anymore. It make me sad to see this happen, and when my Muslim friends hear of it, some are embarassed. This would indicate to me that yes, not all Muslims are happy with what happens.

  4. I agree with you and with the two people who already answered!

  5. im also a supporter of minorities in Egypt.

they are citizens who  maintain the same rights as the majority.

it is a matter of equality and humanity .

  6. I agree with everyone....I am Muslima and I support rights for all faiths...

When anyone discriminates it is a scar on the face of what they represent.

At the same time...I am human..and if I am feeling attacked by someone of another religion about MY religion...I occassionaly loose my cool and bite back.

Islam encourages us to be civil with people of other faiths however because any one of us who represents Islam badly may prevent the other from Islam or from any religion.

    Great question
