Since Hillary got 2000 times more votes than Biden in the primaries, what made Obama go with Biden?

Hillary has experience in foreign policy, the legislature, and working in a law firm. Her husband has been in the White House for 8 years. On a strict popular and experience basis, she seems 2000 times better a pick than Joe Biden. JFK picked his nemesis, LBJ, as running mate for the betterment of the party and country. Was Obama swayed by some personality conflict or some better reason for not going with the obvious choice?

obama decided to go with biden because he didnt want a b**chy white woman nagging him all the time like she does bill.  obama made a good decision by not chosing hilary and the hilary supporters should get behind obama and support him so he can become the next president of the united states and make the changes we need in this lousy country.

Obama despises anyone who goes against what he says and what he wants. He is a control freak, and Hillary dared to run against him. He couldn't handle it. We all knew he was never in a million years going to pick her, and he'd have won easily with her by his side.  He is a very prideful man and made a poor choice based on his pride.

There's no rule that says the runner-up gets the vicepresidency. The winner can choose whoever they want, they didn't even have to be a candidate for presidency to be selected. He could have selected a governor, a businessman or anyone else he wanted as long as they weren't from the same state. Sure it would have been nice gesture, but honestly, Biden has YEARS more experience than Hillary. Plus if you look at the views of independent voters (where the election is decided), Biden is FAR more popular, while Hillary has much higher negatives.

Clinton and Obama HATE each other.  I don't know about Obama, but Clinton couldn't care less about party unity or the good of the country.  She wants to be President.  If she thought is would help achieve that goal, she would campaign for McCain.
