Since I am an Aussie I want to ask who do you think will win more medals in the pool at the Bejing?

olympics this year, the US or the Aussies? I believe the Aussies as I watched the Olympic trials on TV for the Aussies and many world records were broken so this year our team is as strong as ever, we have always been strong but watch out for the Aussies. I do not think I have seen an Indian swimmer at the games. do you know of one?

While the Australian women are a deeper team, look for American standouts including Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Aaron Piersol, Natalie Coughlin and Katie Hoff to put the American medal total out of reach for the Australians.

It will be quite the wake up call to the rest of the world when the American's FINALLY hit the water in Omaha at the Olympic trials. I would expect world records in almost every event.

Sorry but I'm going to say the US.  The united states killed australia in the dual in the pool AND we haven't had alll that many great swimmers retire.

Yea, i think this year we have a really strong team. We could possible win more medals than the US but they're also very strong. I think we've got more/stronger girls than US though. Hmm, i haven't heard of any Indian swimmers, haha sorry. Hope this helps =]

1. That would depend on the outcome of the trial & finals on the Olympics itself.  So far I've seen the Einhoven swimming trials and European swimmers are quite good.  This will give good competition to US & Aussie swimmers.

2. Sorry, haven't seen any Indian national qualifying yet.

US will win more as they have a better male team. Indian Swimmer? No not really.
