Pakistan, shouldn't he take proactive steps to curb militant extremism in India as well as curb the rise of extremist activities in adjoining regions? If I were India I would be much more interested in being part of a trillion dollar international security plan than I would be in a defunct project such as 1-2-3. Side-stepping 1-2-3 will allow India to work regionally to develop first quality nuclear fuel instead of buying second fire and will help de-politicise (and re- criminalise) the process of foreign nationals lavishing funds to extremist elements within India. Furthermore, expressing any kind of support for terrorist organizations will only make India more of a hotbed for terrorist activities. Work on developing a five phase package with Musharraf that includes the Kashmir issue. Stability and trade create lasting peace and a trillion dollar deal is great impetus to further strong, positive relations between neighbours. Step one is to bring the LTTE to task, including elements that operate within India, same goes for Taliban, Al Qaeda, Hindu extremists etc. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080812/ap_on_re_as/india_missing_musharraf;_ylt=AjsxWfsdzszr61K2EDqvZ2IBxg8F
