Since Jagr is Gone who is the best on the Rangers?

Who do you think is the Best player on The Rangers?

hmmm...well i think Lundqvist is their backbone.. but as for the skaters, i'd have to go with Drury..i think though in a couple years Nigel Dawes will be their guy...

Without a doubt the Best Ranger has always been Henrik Lundqvist! Even with Jagr-off there he was and still is the best!

Scott Gomez.  Drury is a little overrated because even back when he played with Iginla he wasn't that great.  He is good on faceoffs though but Gomez is a speed demon!

Lundqvist can contend for #1 goalie in the NHL at times.

But then again he can let in everything that gets tossed his way..

Once he shows some REAL consistency (not 5 games or so), then he will be our MVP.

FYI - Jagr hasn't been the best player on the Rangers since 05/06.

Since Jagr, is gone, the best player on the Rangers would have to be Hendrik Lundqvist, he practicully carried that team, into the postseason. Although statisticlly it would have to be Scott Gomez. But on the other hand, the most consiestient performer, would have to be Michal Rozsival.

At this point their goalie Lundquist is the best. The Rangers would be where they are now as a contender without him.

Gomes and Drury are good but the team is still lacking the strong offensive chemistry  needed to get to the conference finals and beyond.

Wade Redden is by far the best now. He is one of Canada's best defensemen
