dinodino: Obamas father by his own words was less than 1/4 Black African . His ancestors trace back to Arabia They came to Kenya when the slave trade was the major thing going in Kenya..

  2. Your math is a little off.  His  "descent" is 50% from his white mothers side, and 50% of African descent from his fathers side. O% Arab, Kenyans are not Arabs.

    His mother is 100% European, which means Barack is 50% European descent.

    His father is of Luo tribal descent, raised in a Christian area of Kenya under British colonial rule, who later converted to Islam. Unless Arab traders somehow intermingled with the Luo over the centuries, Barack Obama, Sr. is genetically as black as Africans can get.

    Ethnically, there may be minute shreds of Arab in Sen. Obama, but there is most certainly a significant degree of black African and white European genes in him.

  8. He is not Arab,someone is trying to make another lame lie to call him a liar when they are doing it,his mother was white,technically he is white, like it or not. That is a fact, I'm sure threatens "WHITE  s" which is many  nationalities

  9. Saying one is black is much more appealling to voters and historians; although, being descendant of Arabs is likely even more historical in the grand scheme of things. But for those who don't think America is ready for a black president, there is no way the U.S. is ready for an Arab commander in chief.
