  1. She was a mayor and is a governor with a very high approval rating (80+%) and many achievements.  Better than 143 days (or something close) experience as a junior senator!!!

    This is a losing argument when Obama has the same vulnerability.

  5. Even though I support Obama, using the "experience" argument against her is a non starter. At least she has governing experience. The two Presidential Candidates and Biden are only Senators. I do think she is a smart cookie and will definitely set herself up for future national office if she performs well. Dan Quayle, she ain't.

  6. I would like to see her go against Obama joe Biden in a game of one-on-one (she was on an actual basketball team), I bet she would win.

    In my mind, a mayor and governor does a lot more than a "community activist" and senator with the same number of years experience - She has actually run something for a living! She also went after a corrupt member of her own party (usually political suicide) and won, that's the kind of community activist I want. And she isn't too bad looking either. And I bet she probably knows the difference between a battalion and brigade.

    Wow.  So his mother took him to live in Indonesia when he was eight, and he took a trip in college.  Meanwhile, Palin has governed a state surrounded by foreign nations.  Which has the practical experience in foreign policy and diplomacy?

    During the entire primary campaign, Obama kept telling voters that his judgment overruled his lack of experience.  Now, suddenly, it doesn’t — but that puts Barack Obama at the same level as Sarah Palin, or even below, as Palin has the executive experience that Obama lacks.   Moreover, Palin has spent her time in politics actually accomplishing reform and challenging the political machine in her own party.  Did Obama do that?

    And let’s not forget that Palin is running for the Vice Presidency.  Obama, with his complete lack of the experience his campaign now suddenly believes is crucial for the job, wants to be President.

    This is a foolish, bitter, and tone-deaf message.

  13. It's ironic that the republicans been saying that Obama has little experience, then they elect a VP that (if you look at the numbers and what she has had to deal with) has even less experience. Being a governor of Alaska is pretty up there as far as being the easiest governor position compared to other states in the US.

  15. I think that she will pick up quickly on the things she needs to know about foreign policy, and if you look at what she has already done, I feel she will be a formidable negotiator. Besides, she will only be vice president, giving her time to gain the experience she needs. Her staff won't let her s***w up, that is why people have a staff.

    That's 2 years more than Obama or Biden can claim.
